My new (used) dining table

I'm really proud to finally have found a good dining table--it expands more with 2 leaves, and the ends fold down.

Savanna's video clips

Savanna has only been doing gymnastics since April of this year, and considering that, she's doing great! We first wanted to post a few of her best stuff so far. This is only the tumbling part of what she's been doing. She also works on the balance beam, the bars, and a bit of vaulting. Her first meet is in January.

Then there are the times when she messes up...which are usually cuter than when she doesn't. I can't wait to show this to her boyfriends when she's older.

The Venice Christmas Parade

Savanna's gymnastics team, the Venice YMCA Gymstars, had a float in the Venice Christmas Parade Saturday (Nov. 24). It was one of the most energetic floats, that's for certain. I was only able to get a tiny (and poorly shot) little clip of it, and I hope it works. She and the other girls in her level dressed as gifts and handed out little YMCA passes with candy canes attached.

Halloween 2007

This year Devin did not "do" Halloween--he figured he was too old. Of course, we still had some kids his age come by. I asked them if they were late for their night school classes (I swear!) and laughed at them.

Savanna was a "corpse bride"--we bought a nightgown and a sheer curtain from the Goodwill store and made it. That was fun!

Our pumpkin was supposed to be Jack Skellington from the Nightmare Before Christmas...don't know if you can see it that well.

Savanna's Brownie Troop

Monday night (October 29) was Savanna's "Investiture"--a ceremony where the new Brownies got their vests and made a commitment to being a Brownie. It was a cute ceremony, and she was very proud!
